What beer are you drinking now? #2152

Guy at work brought this to me today his son's dorm room is right across from this brewery. Columbia Craft Brewery You've Got Mango, a 4.8% sour ale brewed with lactose, vanilla and mango from their smoothie sour series. Just a hint of tartness up front nice salty finish and lots of mango and vanilla.

 

My first pumpkin beer of the season. I have to admit, it is pretty good, for a pumpkin ale. I've had some that rely on spice so much that it's hard to get down.
This actually tastes like a very good beer,and pumpkin pie, not overpowering on the pie but it's definitely there

 

I want to try this one soooooo bad!

 

Is it that time of year already? Damn, I got to get on board. There are a few VA pumpkin beers I want to try.

Got a favorite pumpkin beer you would recommend?

 

So I’ve never had anyth8ng from these guys but I just seen my local beer store got the Orderville hazy ipa and the Blazing World hoppy dank lager I believe. Have you had either?

 

Franconia Lager at a sandwich spot called the Butcher Board...tried the Whole Hog (pulled pork, Smoked ham, bacon)...good stuff.

@vabeerguy. This is my first of the year but I definitely liked it more than I thought. The higher abv worked for this one and made it seem to have more substance than just overloading it with spice

 

This beer seems very appropriate as my boyfriend and I got engaged this weekend!

Son #2 just laughed asking me about the time I made him go to a brewery called Snotty Trotter. Took me a while to realize he was thinking of the Alchemist way back when before the new location. (As an aside he hated the smell of the place and pinched his nose the whole time). Hell, I’d drink an IPA from a place called Snotty Trotter any day.

Anyhow, one more from Trillium for their recen collab with Monkish. I’d give the edge though the Permutation #62.

Congrats kid. Both my daughters were married within the last 13 months. I can show you my bank account to prove it.

I hope you have a great and memorable wedding. I gave the opening speech at daughter #2 wedding. She liked it but said "dad, how did you come up with that".
