Onto my last Tumbler of the year. It's drinking fantastic right now, but with the release of Celebration Ale upon us, it'll have to await me until next autumn. I love this stuff...

And, as the night progresses and I get angrier and angrier at physics, my music gets angrier and angrier...

pretty solid, but not mind blowing or anything, I wish the mouthfeel wasn't so thin. Gonna head down to my local watering hole in a bit to watch the results.

Popping the cap on yet another never-had-before Top 100 Beer of Fame:

    Houblon Chouffe Dobbelen IPA Tripel
    [IMG]
Started foaming the moment the cap came off (obviously a very frisky beer that I must've handled a little too roughly  ), so I was too discombobulated to capture the pour!

    So serene-looking...

Love tripels and IPAs (Belgian, "regular," and Imperial). This beer was both elegant and rugged. All four ingredients shone: classic malt base, distinctive Belgian yeastiness, a trio of wonderfully complimentary hops (Tomahawk/Columbus, Saaz, and Amarillo), and what must have been some crystal-clear and perfectly pure water.

    Ah, those Belgian brewers...

    To Belgium! *cheers*

Started with a Sixpoint Bengali Tiger to support Brooklyn, moved on to a DelMarVa Dogfish Head 75 Minute IPA to support the all blue area. Drinking out of a Ohio pint glass, from a wedding I went to last year.
