Is the wax on the newest batch of mornin delight stamped with the TG seal like previous batches?

 

I think it's more irritating to hear that you wasted your money on one of those fruitcake bikes.

Anyone seeing yeasty/floaty TG on tap?

Had one (Sue) last night that was 1/4 sediment. It was a fresh keg too, so it wasn't the bar's fault. I've drink at the particular bar almost weekly for the past two years and I've never had a bad pour of any other beer, and had many delicious Sue pours.

 

A bike that lets you ride singletrack, gravel, and through the snow is anything but "fruitcake".

 

I'll give you the snow, but that's it.

Yes, at 300. Before they even poured it they warned it might happen. They dumped mine, let the tap run for a while, and were able to get a cleaner pour.

 

Atomic ended up doing the same.

Picked up an 8/23 4 pack of Pompeii. Stellar. For some reason, Pompeii is always “on”.

Ok. Gentleman, and ladies. My wife and I are finally going to Decorah, from Johnston. A belated Anniversary. She wants to have Mabes pizza. What are your thoughts on everything else. Let’s say 4 o’clock on....... We are really looking forward to this.

Magpie is good for coffee and breakfast. I liked Don Jose, it's above average. Go to Pulpit. C&C is a cool spot too.

 

Magpie is fine, but I’m not a fan of the cafeteria style (if they’re still doing it that way). I like Ruby’s better for breakfast and Impact for coffee.

 

Just cracked a 9/13 can of Sue. Nice hazy look, that Sue taste, and no floaties at all even when held up to an unshielded lamp. I think they’ve got this again.

 

Had my first tonight. It was 9/13 as well. Good, not world class. Based on how beers should be rated on BA (@THANAT0PSIS ) I would give it a 3.75. Nothing to write home about. Falls behind many of the style, and I have not had many from the NE.

Pompeii was flavorless.
