Hello my friend ! I am having some whiskey in your honor. Chillin' on the coast I am guessing the liver is not getting a rest, but Iam old and slow so I last longer !

The second photo gives it away.

One of the GF’s favorites. Haven’t had one in a while, might have to change that next chance we get.

CJ! Long time, buddy. It's a classic; never disappoints. Not as exotic as the 1000 variants ET's released, but it's on point every time.

King Arthur's Steed, a Baltic Porter from Icarus Brewing in Lakewood, NJ. Great taste of chocolate and coconut but a little thin in the mouth feel. Nonetheless, good stuff!

Awesome! The brewery in Grand Rapids was still selling last year’s in bottles when we were there a couple weeks ago. I’ll be on the lookout for the new[er] batch.

My Beer Gluttony has no bounds. Finished the four pack because I are weak and old habits die hard.

Fourth bottle found it’s way to my trash bin.

Blasting this. Found this album a few years ago and it left an impression on me.

    Having another...

Really come 'round on this beer - wasn't sure if it was up to the hype (as such) on the first bottle a few days ago, but now that I've had it a few times on different nights - as I anticipated before ever having had it - it's a real winner...

Game's not half bad either...

    Peace out...

Traverse City Whiskey BA. This was amazing! Great lasting head retention/lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge raisin, plum, prune, fig, date, apricot, red apple, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, nuts, and dark/brown bread; with light notes of coconut, molasses, licorice, milk chocolate, cocoa, leather, tobacco, herbal hops, and yeast earthiness. Very mild herbal/roast bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy/silky/bready malts; slight sticky hops, chalky roast, and oak tannins. Slightly increasing lingering bitter/tannic dryness. No cloying. Zero warming 8.4%. This is pretty mind blowing, I need to revisit the base beer after this, was very disappointing when I had it over 6 years ago. They nailed the style here. Perfectly balanced rich dark/bready/light roasted malts and fruity yeast complexity; with great bourbon barrel presence/integration. Not overwhelming or boozy on barrels. Will get more. 4.38

Delicious DIPA. Awesome lasting head retention and thick lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, papaya, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate honey, toasted biscuit, light caramel malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. A bit muddy aromas. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Some resins/rinds, light-moderate increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Dangerously smooth sipping, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 10.1%. Very nice juicy, dank, and earthy hop complexity; balanced honey/bready malts. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Their farm hops always feel pretty classic/old school on flavors. 3.91
