Man I was worried about the box. It was the most I ever crammed in a flat rate. Glad most made it to ya! Enjoy!

 

As I send my first box out into the war, I am reminded of a quote from one of my favorite movies:

John Creasy: “OK, my friend. It's off to the next life for you. I guarantee you won't be lonely.”

Replace the word friend with box, and that’s how I feel today.

 

Let me know how the coconut turns out i got about 2 cases of BC from last year to go through.

 

No worries it happens, you protected it as well as you could short of packing it in a bulletproof vest!!

Always wanted to do something like this, but don’t really stock up on the BC like I should. I’ve had iterations that my friends have tried and toasted coconut seems to work best.

 

Glad everything made it safe and sound! You'll definitely have to reinforce though because the next box is gonna do some real damage. Enjoy!

 

First beer from @strohme2 box of course the rye lager. I am a big fan of rye I think it adds so much to an IPA/Pale Ale/Lager this is no exception. Big spicy rye flavor, nose is about average great head retention. Thanks Justin really liking this beer.




Appearance 4 - Pours cloudy lemon color with nice fluffy white head that stands up nicely. Some nice spotty lacing around the glass.

Aroma 3.5 - Spicy rye, little bit of orange and citrus peel. Lemon, straw, nice floral hop aroma.

Taste 4.25 - Big spicy rye up front, some mild lemon zest, great earthy herbal taste I assume from the Loral hops.

Feel 4 - Medium bodied well carbonated easy drinking.

Overall 3.98 - I really like this beer, the rye does wonders in a beer for me. Wonderful flavors and easy drinking.

 

Another box? Oh, my.

I just hope the USPS actually delivers to my business this time, so I suffer the damage.

 

We surely don't want any unintended casualties in the great beer war.

 

Target. Don’t have anything big planned after having this big 10%er.

Damn, I'm stacked up with beers, my winter stout hunt is taken care and my hop fix is crushed thanks to Mike (Ovaltine). Tremendous beers and out of all he beers the only one I've had before is Backwoods Bastard. Been hunting around for CBS and behold it's on the box. Beers are from Bare Hands, Transient, 12 th St brewery, Founders. I split it between two pictures no idea if both will be here or if I'll have to part 2 . Thanks again, excited to sample new beers.
