Pours deep red. Bubbly, short white head fades fast to a ring.

Smells cherry, plum, lightly acidic and a hint of sweetness that i attribute to the vanilla.

Tastes cherry, tart plum, light funk and then there is the vanilla. It all blends perfectly. Finish is dry with a cherry and vanilla linger. Medium body and fizzy medium carbonation

 

That would be nice, I always seem to be a bit late for those when they would hit the shelves here.
I know where another AB Eclipse was a few days ago......hmmm.

 

Welp the unthinkable happened today fellas.

Yes Henry did indeed launch a box down range and somehow managed a direct hit.

A direct hit of delicious brews in my favorite styles no less!

This one was sent by @r0rschach , and after seeing what he did to Jon, I'm officially scared. As I mentioned earlier, I hope this is "just" retribution for a ninja last round and not him entering the War on the side of the Bullies...



The first beer I pull from the robust box is an Atrial Rubicite. Can we pause right here? You all are completely insane in the best way possible. I was trying to explain to my wife what was happening tonight and my words didn't even make sense to me. I doubt I will ever again in my life have a week like this one in terms of what I've unwrapped. I've been slowly shaking my head and muttering mostly nonsense since last night.

I did not get my mystery beer(s) and swag packed in time for this weekend. I'm sorry, @FFFjunkie . I now your first box arrived in time, but this one is more "fun" and I just didn't get my proverbial s- together. The next 2 boxes will fly this weekend. Small one, will hit much faster. Should have it by Tuesday. Bigger one, I'm hoping will hit you by next Friday. By then, you'll have a few "days" to work with.

@r0rschach Ive been in 3 of these and I think thats the most amazing thing Ive seen yet. Absolutely original and stellar range of brews.
Although its not over....

 

TPB is indeed the brewery I work for. We are the first north Texas brewery to specialize in NEIPAs. Spindletap and B52 are both near Houston and were previously the ones in the state known for haze. Ingenious is another hype Texas brewery that opened around the same time we did but also near Houston. They do a lot of super sweet taproom only stout variants and frozen beer slush on top of regular beer but my favorites so far have been some of their IPAs. Houston is about 6 hours away so I've really only gotten to try a few things so far. Collective is the only place up here that specializes in sours and where I worked previously. I wouldn't say most of their output is world class but they do some really nice stuff from time to time. We just hired their really good brewer though, right as we're really ramping up our barrel program.
