I love being able to find beers by the Brewing Projekt around my location. Top notch brews for sure. Cheers!

 

Cottontown Brew Lab Tropicarolina

Calm before the storm in my neighborhood beer garden. Tropically flavored, smooth feel, dry finish, a good neighbor.

 

Todd the Axe Man at the Stone Arch, Minneapolis Airport. Probably the best beer bar I've ever been to in an airport. With a 1.5 hour layover, this could be dangerous.

 

The last hurricane (just weeks ago) sent ten confirmed tornados through Richmond. Many of them just blocks away. It was not a fun time. Hours on end. If this happens again, I may have to move somewhere or build a bunker.

 

Get WET.

 

Something stronger my friend? Could we be talking bourbon or maybe a triple IPA?

Did you hit four beer posts on page two? I could count them (perhaps) but I am too lazy to do so.

 

I think we hit that place once - it has [almost?] exclusively MN breweries, right?

Yep. About 25 taps and 25 cans. I would seriously choose a route through this airport on purpose. Or stay a day and check out Paisley Park.

 

A little snow falling calls for another barrel aged stout. Greenbush barrel aged Cabra Perdida bottled 09/01/16 pulled from the basement stash. A nice blend of blueberry and barrel still present.

 

I was not too enamored with thiis beer (Kalevala) brewed by Commonwealth Brewing. Made with Pekko and BRU-1 hops. Not familiar with either. Maybe I just need to expand my horizons.

A reviewer wrote "Pekko hops are named for a mythological Finnish God of farming and this coupled with the beer’s huge candy nose and smooth citrus finish was the muse inspiring the namesake of the poetic epic, Kalevala." Interesting information but I am not gonna buy the beer again even though brewed in VA.

 

One day I will have a cellar of old barrel aged imperial stouts, but that day is not today.

Magnify Maine Event - Canned 10/09/18

Many consider this beer to be the holy grail of Magnify IPAs and my god are they so damn right!

Absolutely Outstanding and a superb example in the style!

This ones near perfect for me. It's been a while since I last had this but this ones up their with some of my favorite IPAs of all time.

Can't believe this beer was made down the street from my house, def a local brew im proud to have right here in NJ.

Well, the boys of summer that are still playing are dwindling away. I think it's a good idea to do the same with my beers of summer:


Dead Rise is a bit of a weird beer, but some people say similar about me, as well, including reasons not limited to, but including, the fact that I basically like this beer.

 

I’m usually cautiously optimistic when new breweries get California distro (contract breweries at that), but so far from Toppling Goliath, they have delivered. This is plum crazy! Is Raul feelin’ it? Yes, I think Raul is:

 

Better yet would be a beer drinking maid.

 

Another home room by Magnify in the form of this Heavily Oated DDH Imperial IPA which just so happens to feature Oat milk as well.
