Objectively, it’s probably the best one he makes. Lots of chocolate/cocoa. No roast. Great easy drinking body. Knowing you were a Schwarz fan I was curious on your opinion, but figured you would dig it.

I'm digging into the dark beers in @Vidblain's second box. This is my first beer from Bank Brewing Company, which appears to be a small operation - a BA, maple syrup-infused Porter. Really good stuff. Thank you, Chris!

After seeing @TongoRad's post, I decide to crack this one from @WesMantooth :

This one is a new style for me.

Look is dark black with a ton of light tan head.
Smell is dark chocolate and coffee, with a hint of like dark soda.
Taste is all dark chocolates and like a clean smooth light coffee. Also getting an earthy vibe to this.
Feel: This is just super light and easy to drink.
Overall: I could see drinking way to many of these. Just a nice clean beer, with a great taste.

    Thanks Corey!

Solid lineup. Way to go @Blackop555

That was one of the beers I brought back from NC this spring, and it's damn delicious.

Absolutely, it's like you stalked my favorite things and sent them!!! Lots of very interesting things I am excited to try that batch 26 and 28 really catches my eye and the BBA IPA is really interesting as I had a great one from Burial and one that was a little off from Sierra Nevada. So much great stuff hard to decide where to start, good chance that french toast will go down tomorrow. my mom and aunt showed up this afternoon due to power outages and damage up in NC so they came down here. The good news is a local brewery just tapped a coconut stout and they are doing crowlers!!! While it does not fit the barrel aged theme I am doing with you box it will probably find it's way in.

New styles are always cool, but especially when they are actually old German styles that have been brewed for hundreds of years and don’t get much attention. Probably because most people see a dark beer and expect it to be heavy, or chalked full of chared/roasted grains. Glad you liked it.

Oh yeah. You missed an opportunity to tag @TongoRad with this though
