@flat_lander it’s that easy. Your bottle and credit card are all that is needed. I was able to return my buddies bottles as well with the last four digits of his CC.

 

I did get to taste it last week at Local Option. Based on how much I enjoy The Jones Dog and The Hyper Dog, I had pretty high expectations. Perhaps those were unreasonable. The Coconut Jones Dog was solid, but I felt like there wasn't enough barrel and the coconut was muted. Solid BA stout, but I would take The Jones Dog or The Hyper Dog over it for sure.

 

Disagreee completely. Infinite galaxy needs to be a core beer and the fish series rotational needs to move to cans.

 

Well I did say the fish series needs to be moved to cans. Really one of my main points (and gripes) is to ditch IPA bombers completely. Keep roating the fish/ninja flavors and do 4 pack cans. If they rotated just 3 or 4 (Grouper, Sure Bet would need to be the main 2) that would be a great start. I'd love Infinite Galaxy to be a core beer, but even though Pdubs seems to get a lot of Galaxy hops, not quite sure they could get enough to pull this off consistently. Although I could be wrong and they do get enough of Galaxy hops, they've done what, 3 batches of IG so far?

 

Opened a murderous last night. Noticeable although not horrific sour character on the front end but still a decent bourbony caramel finish. Stopped drinking it 1/3 of the way in and capped the rest. Definitely abnormal enough to use it as a credit toward soon to be released dog/variants.

 

Popped ba and port last night. Had kept in fridge more or less since buying.

Reg BA was... fine? Not great. Thin with a bit of a bite. Me and another friend had a small pour. Other friend drank the remainder. Port was pretty good. Not nearly as flavorful as the sample pour I got.

Popped the brandy a few nights prior. Similar to port. Good not great. A bit of funk or something.

 

I returned mine not too long after the announcement was made. The port was fine at brewery when it came out, cracked one about 3 weeks later and was slightly tart. The original was missing that buttery taste that I loved so much from 2016 version. But the transaction for returns was as painless as can be. Brought my unopened bottles, and they refunded all bottles on CC I used for transaction (even 2 I drank).

Bring on all the BA Jones Dog!

Picked up an Infinite Galaxy 4pk from the latest release @ the Dojo while in the area today. Having one now and this continues to tick all my IPA boxes and I will continue to praise it. 3rd time in 4 months? God bless 'em. Keep it coming, Pipeworks.

 

Yo. That White Grape Gose is legit as hell.

 

Guy at the Dojo on Sat was talking it up. Said that with some 7up or Sprite it's a great hair of the dog tonic. It was 11am. I had a long day the night before. Hence the recommendation.

 

Something seems really off with The Last Kiss. Opened the most recent release and the cap flew open. Head quickly dissipated. Smell is strong vinegar. Can't really pinpoint the taste but it's incredibly muted, bland and a tad sour. I've had the vintage 12 oz one a few years ago and it's nothing close to this. I know Murderous is off, but not this one.

 

Well, this was released right around the same time as Murderous...I hope it isn't widespread, as I was blown away by this when it was fresh.

I've drank mine already, so maybe I dodged a bullet. I was planning on grabbing more...

 

I've heard only one additional rumor on The Last Kiss. But I figured it was nothing. Could be widespread. Hope they figure out the source with potentially 5 more BA beers coming soon. Messaged them on Instagram and still waiting for a response.

 

I got 3 bottles of Last Kiss, had 1 early that was on point & delicious. Hoping this is not a widespread issue.

@NOTpipeworks can you share how has the QC testing been on Last Kiss?

Seem to be some bad reviews sprinkled here and there on untappd. This has me concerned.

 

Balls. I bought two and had one already. We'll see what they say.
