Wish I'd known this yesterday when I cracked FBS, SN Stout, LH Milk Stout and a Guiness Foreign Extra. Maybe I'll do that whole rotation again tonight....

Got plenty of stouts in the cellar. Thought about Tart of Darkness but it's an American Wild Ale and doesn't count for, um, things on certain social beer websites.

There's also a Southern Tier tap takeover in my town tonight. Might just go down the whole ST stout portfolio tonight.

I have a yeti that I wanted to sit on a little longer, but I think today might warrant it.

I do have a beer camp oatmeal and a heavy seas peg leg in the fridge, but I'm hoping I can go to the store and get a growler of something good later today.

I'm trying to decide between an 09 Stone RIS and a Brookly BCS from last year.

On a Thursday? I don't think I'll have time to drink tonight. International stout day will be postponed until tomorrow for me.

I took a walk to Coastal Wine and Spirits here in Branford, CT this morning in honor of the occasion. It was approximately 3.5 miles round trip on mostly snow covered sidewalks (grrr) and well worth it to pick up a 4 pack of Young's Double Chocolate Stout and a bottle of Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout. I am now set to enjoy the holiday and the footy.
