More BA Karma. Seriously incredible beer. Creamy coconut, cinnamon and the chocolate is starting to pop now as it warms up. Kicking off my birthday weekend right! Cheer BA!

 

New marzen number 10 this year. New ones are usually hard to come by for me but thanks to @WesMantooth's unexpected porch bomb, the saga continues.
Columbus Brewing Co./Festbier.

Beautiful copper orange body, clear but with a slight haze. Nice one finger white head that leaves some spotty, runny lace and a broken ring around the glass.
Huge waft of caramel sweetness, lighter in toasted malts and the slightest hint of medicinal hops.
Quite an odd progression with the taste of this beer. Initially it is very thin up front until a burst of caramel and apple skin shows up and blend seamlessly in to a very pleasant medicinal and spicy hop finish.
The body is on the lighter side of medium with medium carbonation. Very smooth mouth feel and light.
