Perfect bitterness in this one. It’s almost some sort of amalgam between new school and old school IPAs. Thanks for the hookup @SammyJaxxxx !

It is pretty crazy, Tired Hands did a great job with this, like most of their aged saisons and sours. 5.5 lbs of fruit per gallon!

Yes. Growing up I had a mutt and a kerosene heater. The heater threw massive BTUs. She used to lay inches away from it for hours at a time. You couldn't touch her because her fur would burn your hand.

Excellent APA as usual. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, citrus peel/rind, pepper, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts, and sticky hops in the mouthfeel; some resins/rinds. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, 5%. Not watery at all. Very vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy classic C hop complexity; with a nice bready malt backbone for the ABV. Glad Odd Sides date the cans now. This and CPA will definitely be in the fridge more often!

Tasting fantastic this year as usual! Flavors of big pumpkin, seeds, gingerbread, nutmeg, brown sugar, cinnamon, toasted pie crust, caramel, cocoa, and light coffee. Balanced roasted bitterness and spiciness on the finish against sweetness. Medium-full bodied creaminess; with light chalky roast and spice stickiness. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/spicy/roasted dryness. No acrid/astringency. Very smooth, minimal warming 8.6%. While I do agree this is not really much of a stout on the roast spectrum; you still do get a nice amount of roasted qualities, with the classic Pumking flavors in the forefront. Definitely better than the original 8.6% batch, but not quite as good as the 10% ones. I love it anyways.

Oh, man. I can't believe they brewed that type of beer for their harvest. That sounds great.

    Is it?

Latest WHOA beer. This was really, really good. Thanks @brutalfarce!

The Tree House yeast really speaks here. Lots of nice grapefruit juice and tangerine on top of the subtle malt base and the bubblegummy yeast. Fantastic beer. 4.33 out of 5.
