Samoa was the clear favorite for me. Agree on King BT that it was just ok.

Anyone know what this "Napa project" is? A coy term for a beer they're working on...or something bigger?

 

I understand it to be the RS/HS special release wine hybrid... but one could only dream of Bruery partnering up with a Napa Winery for a pop-up or permanent tasting for wine hybrids. Would be epic for a road trip reward.

 

Anybody try BA 10 Lords? Or is everyone waiting since supply was so limited?

Hell yes! When Westwood came out I was worried they'd abandoned the Apple Brandy version teased at start of the year... Interesting that both are collaborations with distillers. I wonder if it's the same base beer and if we'll continue to see barrel variants?

Jesus. I thought Yount was pricy at $50 pre-discount, but Elizabeth Rutherford shows $60 on the included bottle receipt.

 

So I’m guessing the 2 375 Napa valley collab bottles turned into 1 750 bottle?

Reading the Rutherford description:

Does this mean...bourbon barrel-aged 2017 BT, aged for another year in French Oak with the grapes?

 

It says we get 2 of them, but not what the size of the bottle is.

 

Is Bourgogne Noir a sour, or funky at all? It's not clear from the description, and I thought I remember seeing earlier it was a Terreux release but there's no branding listed for it.

Really looking forward to SMM tasting notes from the locals!

 

I'm assuming it means BT brewed in 2017 (as opposed to the 2018 reformulation), but then diverted for this project rather than going into bourbon barrels.
