Bell's Bourbon Barrel Aged Expedition Stout 2018

In my experience it has been pretty accurate. Sometimes there is a delay in it being updated, so a shop will get their delivery and sell through before it makes it onto the site.

 

Wow, drinking my first one now and imo this is the best year yet. Seems to be smoother out of the gate.

 

I agree, this is great.
I had a 16 Black Note tonight along with an 18 BA Expo, and was surprised how much I preferred the Expo.

I snagged some in ohio. I like black note a lot and had high expectations. Surpringsly this surpassed. At close to $8/beer I dont regret the purchase and would do it again.

 

I will be staying in downtown Detroit for work tonight/tomorrow. Can anyone point me in the right direction to where might be my best bet(s) to find a bottle?

This is how I found it. It was pretty accurate. Just called the places that came up in the search near where I was going to be, to verify if they had it still. They even held a 4 pack for me for a day.

There are a ton of places around Detroit it looks like. I saw 8 within 20 miles of 48127 zip code.

 

Just picked up a 4 pack. So it's in Indiana.

 

just fyi, but 8 Degrees does NOT have it, as that is usually a good bet

My local store in southern Indiana told me they should get some Friday.

 

My local Binnys guy told me hes getting it in tomorrow 100%. Said selling singles, one bottle limit. Only getting 1-2 cases.

 

Not saying he's lying, but find that hard to believe when in a much much smaller town in Indiana, my store got 2 cases. Saw it with my own eyes.

 

Picked up a bottle tonight in Chicago, having it now. This blows away Black Note and was everything I was hoping BA expedition would be. Having had some Expeidition just a few weeks ago... man I love this beer.

 

Most stores I've talked to, including 3 separate Binnys, have all said they're getting 1-2 cases. (Shrug)

I got a 4 pack in Michigan this past weekend, so I'm leaving it for others to grab, anyways.

 

Nice. That must just be about the max they are sending to one single place then. Cuz I know that Binnys is a way bigger account than my small town Indiana store. Hah

 

All the places I know of in metro Detroit only got a case.

 

Yeah sounds like some are getting only 1 case and I only heard of one place getting 2. Also some stores are still waiting on their shipment.
