    They just make more than they can sell from a physical location that is open one day a month. That surplus has to go somewhere and that somewhere is distro.

    Need to put it in waxed bombers, say they're only going to be releasing 150 bottles (and they may never bottle it again!), and put it in barrels.

    Don't even need to put it in barrels anymore. Just make a small batch with a shit ton of adjuncts, slap a snazzy name/label on it and voila!

    I think they over-hyped this one. The wife of the head brewer was checking the line constantly at the release and I only saw a handful of people walk out with the case limit. It did not sell out.

    I cracked my second can the other night, its good but nothing game changing. It does however have a more dark-chocolate hershey appearance when held up against light.

    You must charge at least $30 per bottle though so that the pastry-hype bois know it's for real.

    Last year, I think at the initial period you can only buy the package and once sales slowed they broke them up (but not 100% sure). The regular and BA neckbeard was available for a long while. There's actually a couple bottles of the regular still on the shelf.

    It is cheaper for the package if you want them all.

    Picked up a bottle of both Big Bad Baptista and Quadruple barrel Baptist.

    For my money, the Baptist beers are some of the very best stouts that sit on shelves here. Excellent beers. Baptista is a gem and I'm really excited to try quad barrel. Triple barrel last year was very good.

    Grabbed a couple Marshal Zhukov's from Binny's today. Anyone know how this one is tasting at the moment? Been a while since I've had it. Also, couldn't believe how many cases of Darkness were on the floor. I suppose $21.99 for a non-BA beer is a bit high.

    Not yet that I’ve seen. I asked last week at Binny’s and they said they expect it in November but haven’t heard anything specific except that’s when it hit last year.
