From what I've read, the month and year that the bottle was created is casted in. Could be a 2010 or a 2011 bottle. I'd say 2010 if I had a gun pointed at me, being that most KBS's are bottles in the month of February. I doubt they have a years worth of bottles laying around.

 

How old was it? That beer needs at least a couple years on it.

 

I bought it at Capone's in Norristown. I think it was 9 bucks, but I'm not 100% postive. I might have bought the last one though, unless Matt has a few in the back.

 

If I bought that much Utopias I'd be eating cat food for a month.

 

A HUGE thanks to Dan (DSlim71) for getting me and shipping out the Golden Sour for a big birthday bash this weekend...despite him being in the Sandy destruction area. Then he goes and gives me an extra Golden Sour on top of it. Insane. Also, thanks to a couple other good BA's who picked me up some Stone Mint Chocolate Imperial Stout and some JP De Viento. Cheers!

A great trade came through with Thickfreakness for the KH, the others were extras! Also the newspapers you see at the top of the pic are brewing news publications from across the US, he included all the markets. I didn't even know these news papers existed specifically for craft beer, but its an awesome little bit of swag
