    I had V1 recently and liked it better than I did at first. But yeah sequencing matters as the alcohol is harsh compared to a VofL.

    Thanks Marksy for the bottle update. Gonna try to make it in for Vanilla soon

    Had LGM 2018-6 and really liked it. I took a BA Vanilla bottle home for tonight. The flavors are spot on though it was completely flat. No head even on the pour. Would’ve been great if it had more carb

    Haven't had it yet, but rakau is great. Lots of stone fruit and a little pine.

    V21 is fantastic. Piney\Floral bite at the end but its a juice BOMB. Carb\mouthfeel is near perfect. Glad I picked this up.

    Alright, it was a big day, let's just go through the run sheet:

    BA Coffe & Cakes: The barrel really adds to this one. I thought the original was very imbalanced, with the taste just switching between intense coffee bitterness and syrupy sweetness. This adds the barrel flavor and kind of smooths it all out. But man oh man is it still SWEET. This is one to bring to a share. Bottles are running low right now.

    It'd Be a Lot Cooler if You Did: I don't have a ton of barleywine experience, but to me this tastes like a pretty classic expression. Very sweet, but not overtly so like a pastry stout. I wish there was a little more barrel, but that could just be in comparison to C&C ba factory over there. Really liked it.

    Bananas Foster: Very upfront with banana. It's also definitely on the sweet side (there's definitely a lane they're going in with regards to stouts) but it feels a little cut because the banana comes on so strong. Really nice lingering banana and vanilla at the end. It's got cinnamon, maple, vanilla and banana in it, and if they do it again I hope they drop the maple. I think that would let more cinnamon through and kill some unnecessary sweetness. Overall, I liked it just like the others but I definitely dig the pastry style.

    Grand Monde 2017-7: Not sure if they're highlighting this or something, but they poured some for everyone in the bar with some fresh mint in it. Great, crisp taste, perfect in between all that sugar.

    Fresh One Hop Nelson: In cans now. Do you like Nelson? This is good Nelson. Definitely walki ng away with cans.

    Fresh IPA: Doing a single IPA for the first time in years, they specifically went for as low bitterness as possible. Anathema to the old guard, but as a certified flocc boi I really dig it.
