Only cause of the small bottle formats though, yeah? I still love many non-Hoarder releases, and I don't love being compelled to buy sours (though I appreciate why it's done).

    Thanks!

This actually reminds me, I forgot I wanted to share this with all you nice folks, but I think you'd all appreciate how I asked my groomsmen to be my best men and groomsmen... I have a good friend who works in graphic design, so I asked if she would be able to essentially make Bruery label-style art that I made specific to each person. Well, she definitely did it and I think she KILLED IT. The actual beer in each bottle is a different Bruery beer that I felt best suited my guys, not the silly writing I put on the labels themselves...

Scroll over to the very last slide to see all of the beers side by side

and anyone who works at The Bruery, don't sue me ok thanks!!!!

That's pretty cool. "Imperial porter aged and fancy ass wine barrels with even fancier cheese added". Lol. What beers were in the bottles?

Let's see... Mash and Coconut for my best man who loves the Bruery, Or Xata for the best man who is more of a Pacifico guy, haha. Guava Libre for my friend who loves bruesicles, White Chocolate for my fancier friend (wine and cheese bottle), Bois Fume for my friend who goes camping often and likes smokey drinks, and lastly Valise for my friend who is more into wine than beer.

Enrollment extended two days... shocker. Was hoping the never ending emails and marketing would end at some point.

Ok, I’m usually defending breweries on points like this—they are business after all, and marketing and shit is important—but this is just a really bad look. It seems really desperate, especially after the 400 e-mails they sent the last two days... No one forgot about the deadline lol.

I thought this was dishonest marketing that continues to show up on my "feed"...
you don't have to be a RS member to look at pictures of HS exclusives.

Day of the week beers usually debut as HS exclusive then are released to RS the following year so Sundae will probably be available to ‘19 RS members.

I’m a huge Bruery Apologist, but even I see the desperation in this. Just two years ago, memberships sold out in minutes... what happened?

Increased competition for people's beer dollars, and changing tastes would be my two guesses. Not sure if they've increased production as well...

    Cause it's $60

Were you a Yount fan? Pros and cons?

I thought Yount was just okay... it had a lot of the extremes of beer/wine, but didn’t meld well with the subtle elements of each drink. Too tannic, too boozy. Ellie on the other hand is much smoother, and much more gentle. There was enough BT to remind you that it’s beer, but enough cab to make you second guess.

But yes, I think the price point is absolutely ridiculous! That’s what turned me off from taking a risk... but I would love to have a couple more bottles to see what a few years do to this gem.

I don't understand the math of the Yount/Rutherford beers. Black Tuesday $30. Bottle of basic Napa/Rutherford wine also $30. That's 1.5 liters of finished liquid for $60.

Why is 750ml of this mixture $60?
