#2, keeping the Brew Dog theme rolling, this is outstanding, IMHO. Nice heat, creamy mouthfeel, dark chocolate. Checks all the boxes with a sledgehammer.

 

Good call. @SomethingClever and I were just talking about that last night. Not that most Helles are a big flavor profile but that one is kind of soft and can get lost easily

All right, so that Corona Familiar was cute and all, but the only thing it did to me was make me too lazy to dirty up another glass, so I’m pouring this Moonraker Triple in a Pilz glass. Talk about getting LARRRRRRGE:

 

First beer of the day while waiting to board our plane at TPA ... a “Tony Jannus” cedar pale ale, allegedly only available at the Cigar City Taproom here at the airport:





A little too dry wooden for me; otherwise, another fine pale from CCB. Cheers from Tampa!

 

I was trying conjure up a rebuttal that it was like a Bud Lite but realized how stupid that would be to post.

How is the brew? I got a 2017 (from a generous BA) and a 2018. Planned to do a vertical (fancy speak for comparing the two). Have not pulled the trigger.

I’m still trying to make up my mind. The fruit definitely lightens up the base beer and rye a bit. I keep on sipping trying to place in my BCBS ranking order. I’m trying to decide whether I prefer more of the base BCBS unlightened full hit. Regardless, a fun beer.

 

Having citra pale ale from revolution, still at the Christmas party, good time.

Long day for you my friend. I did not go to bed until 2:00 a.m. but slept my sorry ass until 8:30. Yours was probably much worse.
