Started the day with BA expedition, ending it with OG expedition stout. Both are delicious in their own way.

Moksa - Cape of Good Hops. Featuring African Queen and pacific jade hops. Courtesy of @AllHopsMatter

Canned 10/31/18. Hops featured are African Queen and Pacific jade.
L: Pours hazy orange in color. From a simple pour, a bubbly head was formed that dissipated rapidly. No traces of lacing. Color is visually appealing.
S: Yeast-forward with notes of mango, lemon and melon.
T: Malt backbone prevalent throughout flavor profile. Finish is semi-sweet with lingering flavors of mango, apricot and melon. Yeast also prevalent on aftertaste.
F: Medium in body and weight. Carbonation is moderate. Fizz property that is really noticeable on the tongue.
O: An enjoyable beer. Easy drinking for the abv. Its unique, but in a good way.

Alvarado Street + The Jungle Bird - Toucan Touch This. A 10%abv kettle sour brewed with coconut, orange, pineapple, lactose and nutmeg.

    Canned 9/4/18.
L: Pours completely murky in appearance, total opacity. A bright yellow in color with little head formation. However, lacing is left on the glass as the content diminish. I had to stop pouring about 3/4 of the way due to heavy amounts of sediment on the bottom.
S: Definite tartness on the nose, with small hints of citrus. I am picking up a little bit on the nutmeg spice, but it is very minimal, as is coconut.
T: A whole lotta coconut. Its raw and natural tasting. Present initially and in the aftertaste. The orange is also apparent but I am not able to single out pineapple. Lactose sweetness apparent at the finish but is outbid by lingering citrus notes. As I drink more of it, booze is slightly noticeable on the tail end as well.
F: Medium in body and in weight. Carbonation is moderate, leaning more towards moderate. Nice full mouthfeel.
O: For what it is, I am enjoying it. I love the abundance of coconut, but I don't think this beer needs to be 10%ABV

After looking I think I drank @drunkenmess ' tonight as there was one slightly dented and one not, not that it matters, but the one I drink tonight was dented....but yours is still sitting in my mini fridge my man. I hadn't paid attention to which one I pulled out, but looking now...

Long story short - THANK YOU BOTH! both great traders indeed.

How's that beer doing? Remember when those were in the 750s back in the day? That's the last one I had probably. Mystery Stout back then, delicious.
