My last bottle of my first six pack of Expedition Stout, purchased in November of 2013. The first beer that led me to this awesome website called Beer Advocate. I read some reviews of this beer and learned it ages beautifully. I decided to only drink one a year to see for myself. I can confirm, this Bells Expedition Stout ages exquisitely. Thanks WBAYDN crew for helping me along on this beer expedition. Cheers!

As you can see from the color, it’s not what the brewer intended.

I'm going to see Steven Wilson tomorrow, so I won't have as much time (nor inclination) for new beers. So I'm going to make today New Beer Saturday, I think. Starting off with Sour Cherry Pineapple from Edmund's Oast Brewing, a ... umm, well, a sour cherry pineapple ale.

about a quarter of the year it changes my images dramatically
the rest of the year it's very

I’ve had my fair share of dark beers today...now drinking a Stone collab courtesy of @Snowcrash000 - “Fellow-Sip IPA”, by Stone, IMBC, Buxton, Magic Rock, and North Brewing Co. :

Oops...slightly enthusiastic pour (don’t tell @Lingenbrau )...a darn fine tasting IPA, plenty of citrus hops with balanced caramel malt base sweetness supporting a 7% abv with a hefty enough feel to let you know you are drinking a proper (American style) IPA...

I hear those aliens are known for their hospitality. I found it odd that you still had internet service during your "encounter". Still, good to see you survived.
Slainte! (That's cheers in Gaelic. I don't know what it is in your new language)

I wasn't even gonna post out of respect for @GreenBayBA may he rest in peace (pieces?). Then I was gonna make some lame joke about cows being non-threatening, but looking at the label I see that this cow actually looks pretty fucking mean.

He actually looks more malevolent than the alien that got our cheesehead friend.

As usual, the Simpsons were right.

I have this beer and some FSM from Toppling Goliath on hand. That is all I ever really need in my refrigerator. @Ocalafox, I was disappointed that you got some of this, as I was going to send you some. @superspak, next time play the Council of Wolves and Snakes video.

DotD has been very entertaining so far and I'm sure there's much more to come. At this rate I'll need a nap or two today...going with another local: Grist House Black in the USSR. I didn't know you could brew an imperial stout without added flavoring or a barrel treatment :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

This is pretty fresh and it comes through a little hot and quite hoppy. Very tasty. I'll have to revisit in a couple months. Keep all the good stuff coming BA's
