I have fine tuned my 2019 diet guidelines and now I am good to go with this Virtual Bar beer from @thebeers! H*lyshit it’s excellent! More chocolate than milk but that really works for me. Easily the best of the style I’ve had in a long time.

Good stuff from that state up north...

 

Very nice IPA. Awesome head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bread dough, light honey/caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. A but muted/muddy aromas. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts and sticky hops; some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not aggressive, minimal warming 6.5%. Feels like Columbus, Centennial, Amarillo, and Simcoe. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hops; nice bready malt backbone, mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Very enjoyable classic hop profile. 3.88

Big change of pace. Roasty, thick, very nice drinker.

 

Back home and feeling like a stout.

 

I remember when this beer was 8.5%, now it's only 7.5% but it's still a hoppy punch to the pie hole. Thanks for bringing this one back, Victory! Bring on those hops!!

Kicking off the weekend following the short work week with this. It might be my last one. Better than I remembered. Perhaps improving with age. Guess I should have stashed one for awhile.

 

Bright Lights. An IPA brewed by Triple Crossing. Canned yesterday.

 

An pricy but excellent IPA from Evil Twin.

 

That was one of my OH HELL YEA! beers when I started getting really interested in craft beer, cheers JZ.
