CD#5 was on shelves for 2-3 weeks. I think it's safe to say Juicy will last until at least this weekend, especially with the limit being reduced from 3 to 2 bottles. If they were originally thinking a 3 bottle limit was doable, that leads me to believe there are many hundreds of bottles available.

The bigger news is the post Shaun made on facebook yesterday...if that happens, I might have to quit my life to live in a commune somewhere in the greater Greensboro area. For the facebook disinclined, here's what he posted:

"If we manage to open a brewery pub/tasting room, I would like to promise you all (and myself...) a beautifully tart cherry sour all on cask/hand pump at all times =) Can an existing business launch a kickstarter campaign with a goal to bring the best possible fresh beer to the thirsty populace of our local community?"

^^ then people got all whiny about the kickstarter idea.

now the question is.... is it worth 12ish hours of driving and $400-500ish to go buy some juicy?

I heard last week that there are roughly 1k bottles of Juicy  Should last until the weekend, I'd imagine.

If you've never made it HF, then why not? Haven't had Juicy, but I can't imagine it'll be anything but great. Then remember that they'll have about 10 other world class beers available too. It's a fun trip, you can have some tasters while at HF...then hit Parker Pie. That's a long drive you have, but if you have the day free, some extra cash, and some good company for the trip, it will be worth it.

Good pizza with a focus on local ingredients and cooking from scratch. They make really good pizza for the area. It's not my favorite in the world, but for northern VT it's pretty excellent. They also have good beer on tap and offer a nice VT country atmosphere.

I'll be going up this weekend if anyone wants to meet up for drinks and/or an IP trade.

I'll be around Friday and Saturday. Plan on hitting HF as soon as they open on Saturday, and then head back down to Waterbury for the Lawson's event at Pro Pig.

I plan on going up this weekend as well...trying to hit HF/Alchemist Cannery/Lawsons.

I guess I'll be dropping serious cash this weekend.

Parker Pie is good, but don't sleep on Positive Pie in Hardwick. Just opened and you should be going through Hardwick to go to HF (not Rt 14, take Rt 15 up to Rt 16, left on Taylor Rd then follow the signs), to hit the gas station in Hardwick. Cheap gas and the last toilet you'll see, which can be helpful for those not interested in using a port-a-potty

I'll probably be free that night. Feel free to send a message my way. I don't have a super deep cellar, but I have a few bottles to open at a bottle share

After stopping at Positive Pie for lunch this past weekend i think i will continue going there if I want a quick place to eat. Parker Pie service has been unbearable the last couple times I've gone and sometimes I get a pizza under a pool of oil. Disgusting. The pizza I had at positive pie was great and not just by middle of nowhere vermont standards.

There are 5 bottles of Civil Disobedience #5 remaining - just removed them from the website so that folks wouldn't drive here specifically for them. Available upon request (today only.)
There are about 900 bottles of Juicy (375ml) - 2 bottle limit. It should last through Thanksgiving... I somehow doubt we'll see 450 people, all purchasing their limit, in the next few days =)
Also plenty of Twilight of the Idols remaining. Brewing another batch tomorrow. Shelf is full of great bottles right now. We are also "randomly" releasing surplus bottles from past releases... expect to see a few bottles of Jimmy, Damon, and so forth on Wednesdays or Thursdays when we open the doors... no promises... completely random.
As a side note... I have the intention of releasing a Civil Disobedience 12345 variety pack. Only have a dozen - but not sure how to go about releasing it.

Awesome news! Very excited for Juicy, I'll be there on Saturday to hopefully get my two and enjoy some tasters on what looks like a sunny day. Also have to say that Twilight of the Idols is so, so good, very excited to hear there's more on the way too. Keep up the great work, thanks!

Good luck on whatever you decide for the Civil Disobedience variety packs...and don't listen to the haters complaining about whatever method you choose to hand those out

Blind charity auction. Something like... anyone who visits in the next 3 months can bid. Highest 12 bids win a CD variety pack. You guys can take your reasonable cut for the costs of the beer if you want, and then the rest gets donated in the name of Hill Farmstead. Wins for everybody.
