Stopped in today around 1:00 - no line, picked up an assortment of delicious cans (really enjoying Snow these days...anyone know if that was formerly a Curiosity?) plus 2 bottles of And Miles to Go, which I haven’t tried. Also opted for a pour of Extra Maple Moment of Clarity - a definite fave. All in all a perfect visit!

 

Not sure anybody can answer this or not but do we know if there's any rhyme or reason behind why certain stouts go in bottles instead of cans and vice versa?

 

Seems like anything over ~8.5% goes in a bottle. Not sure the reasoning though.

New rule: Never go get bottles the day of release. The allotment will increase the next day and hold

 

That’s not always true. I’ve seen the opposite also. I think it was the impermanence release a little while ago went from two to one. Just depends if something is going too slow or too quickly.

The TH hype machine is in full force today. Things have been slow so they need to hype the beards up.

I also find it hilarious that people are going crazy over the stamp on the Bbbright w/ Galaxy. Seriously?!?

 

In their defense, this is just a picture of a beer lol. Are they only supposed to take black and white pics of beer in an unmarked glass? More of a crazy TH fan thing than a trolling/hype play to me, but I guess perception is reality.

 

Rest easy, juice machine didnt drop today.

 

If you think they didn’t do this intentionally, I’m not sure what to tell you. TH is a very well oiled machine and knows their rabid fan base very well. Why do you think they don’t release a schedule? Or still have some silent releases? It’s all about the FOMO hype and it works very well for them.

 

Fwiw that stamp isn’t on the bottom of Bbbright. Label is orange. It’s either Juice Machine or a Julius Variant.

 

Are we sure about that? Looks like his skin reflecting off the aluminum. Other than that, there's no indication that it's an orange can. At the top left you can see what looks like purple in the same area which is another reflection

Looking for thoughts on whether Bbbbright with Galaxy is worth the 75 cents more per can than Bright with Galaxy? Also, who has cracked the most recent Very Green?

 

Let me preface this by saying I’ve never had Very Green before, but is this batch way off? It’s rated top 15-10 all time on untapped and really didn’t think it was anything special. In fact regular Green almost tastes better. Tell me if i am crazy.

Side note, doppel and doubleganger are two of my favorite beers of all time and Haze is right up there so it’s not like i have something against TH.

 

It absolutely is on the Bbbright with Galaxy cans that were released today.
