But your avatar is a drill sergeant.

Not too many folks think I am 67. More like 77. Too much other shit going on but I am still alive and drinking good beer.

Amen brother, thank you for your posts.

Fantastic imperial stout. Awesome head retention, spotty soapy lacing. A bit murky. Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, cinnamon, chili pepper, roasted nuts, and toasted dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of molasses, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, charcoal, wood, herbal, pepper, pine, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, roast, charred bitterness; and cinnamon/chili pepper spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy, silky, bready, grainy malts; some sticky hops/spice, chalky char/roast in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing hop/char/spicy dryness; minimal acrid/astringency. Dangerously smooth sipping. Mild increasing warmth of 10.4%, and linger pepper heat. Not overwhelming on any aspect. Fantastic balance of rich malts, spices, and earthy hops against sweetness. 4.2

There's a classic I haven't heard in years. They were HUGE in their 15 minutes of fame.

Thanks for the feedback, will keep that in mind.

In regard to what beer to drink, you seem to be drinking just fine, better than just fine, but if you want to try something different that will jick you in the behind in a good way try Bell’s Hopslam, just camebout and it is so dank.

Had lot of Bells but i do not think this. Gonna give it a try.

May I ask if you got past the kid college cost thing? No need to respond because I understand. College costs. It was tough. At least for me but all ended well.

Last of the day by the fire. It’s still 60 degrees somehow so the fire is just for ambiance. Born Yesterday if you can’t tell.

A little boozy at a week old, but I think that I like this a little better than the Citra High.

Fist of Karma brown ale has been on tap at Druthers brewpubs since I've been going to them, maybe since they first opened. But it just recently became available in bottles. Yay !! This is the second 6-er I've bought this month, and I will be getting more. Brewed & bottled right here in Albany NY. Considering this, and also award-winning Kick Ass Brown Ale from CH Evans Brewing.... maybe brown ale is the beer that will make Albany famous (in the 21st century).
