What beer are you drinking now? #2323

I'm skeptical, but go ahead.

 

Huge brut IPA. This was incredible. Lasting head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge juicy/fairly tart/tangy mangoes, black currants, red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, plum, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, light peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate honey, biscuit dough, light caramel/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; balanced creamy/bready malts, sticky hops; some resins/rinds, and fruit tang/acidity in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter/tart/tangy dryness; no cloying/astringency. Dangerously smooth, minimal lingering warmth of 14.2%. Wow they pulled this off wonderfully. Feels like Galaxy, Mosaic, Citra? Extremely juicy and fairly dank/earthy hops/fruit; with a great balancing bready malt backbone. Bit of jammy fruit notes. Mild residual sweetness from lingering resin dryness. Will get more singles for sure. 4.28

I love this stout. Brand new batch of Scaphism by Nightmare Brewing, tastes amazing especially watching my Isles vs the Caps. 17%...so smooth. Vanilla, honey, perfect.

Francis Bogside and Bar America almost always have it on draft here in SA, if you ever make it back. Lone Pints Jabberwocky DIPA is awesome too. That brew is more seasonal and hard to find on draft.
