I have over 3,000 posts on this website, but none are better than this post. You combined the first beer that I requested when I actually went to Toppling Goliath, my favorite video game characters, and primative death metal. I hope you have plans to go to a Green Bay Packers game soon, so we can hang out.

I think Houndstooth is a bit subdued compared to this. This is more fruit-forward, surprisingly. My judgement may be off, since I’m a huge fan of Dynamo Hum. I still have a bottle of Houndstooth, but I was kinda saving it for spring/summer. If I get into it in the near future, I’ll let you know.

i thought Dynamo Hum was exceptionally sour this year. Houndstooth was sweeter and i thought the fruit came out more.

Going West Coast now, and I mean WEST COAST. A non-hazy triple IPA that clocks in at 140 IBU. Oh, yeah. Really not bad. Not overly malty or boozy. The brewers don't say which hops they used here, but based on the taste, I'd guess there's quite a bit of Chinook. Aromatics are weak. Feel is about what you'd expect for a WC TIPA. If I'm honest, this doesn't quite stand up to some of the real stars of the California TIPA scene, but it's a good triple IPA, one that would definitely get again.

    Cheers!

Busy thread tonight. I'll continue participating as long as I can. Catching up on reviews that I've been neglecting for the last few weeks. As I mentioned a while back, I've been talking to/dating a new lady for the first time in about four years, so we've been drinking some stuff and discussing it when we're both free. Different experience than posting in this thread... for sure. :joy: She's doing quite well for someone who only drank Corona until recently, however. She loves Hill Double Nelson, so I feel like I might have a winner here. She's resting from LASIK surgery now, which gives me time to write and drink a bit. Good times!

Anyway... just had a couple IPAs in a row, so switching to something sweeter and chewier.
