    Yet another disappointment from BBCo.

    First pic:

    3 seconds later:

    16 oz. can.
Moderate pour yields a big, one inch (plus) tan head; gone in seconds!?! Reason: lactose. Once again BBCo.'s overuse of milk sugar claims another victim. Fairly nice nose of chocolate, vanilla, and a bit of chocolate chip cookie dough. Taste mirrors nose, but the mouthfeel, I say the Mouth Feel, is severely lacking due to the aforementioned BBCo. overuse of an adjunct that most of you should know by now that I detest the overuse of.
    Cheers?

I need to remember to keep buying this, ha the way I drink there is no way. @joe1510 make yourself less useless than usual and remind me to buy this every now and than. You’re like an alcoholic Siri, and more bitchy.

Humble Sea - Double Tiki Decor “Milkshake” DIPA with guava. Super old can, and very impressed at how well it held up.
Warning: For those who are offended by floaties in beer, look away.

Canned 10/29/18. Super old can, and I almost feel guilty rating it. Nevertheless, let's see how it has aged, or should I say, developed.
L: Well, the age is apparent. Amber/burnt yellow in color. Looks unfiltered but doesn't have the haze presence that other Humble Sea Foggy IPAs posses. Head amounted to about a finger of a loosely packed heat that dissipated rapidly. Moderate amount of lacing on the glass. The beer is plagued with floaties that are abundant in the glass. I swear chunks of guava are also chilling in this cess pool of brew. For what it's worth, when the goodies settle, the beer still looks good.
S: Holy momma of guava. Guava, guava, and more guava. Crap, if I didn't know better, I would say there is guava in this beer. Following guava, is lemon, grapefruit and mango. Lactose also present on the nose proving a creamy aroma complexity.
T: For the age, this still tastes pretty damn good. 5 bucks for the person who could guess what flavor dominates the profile? You sir, in the front row, what is your answer? "Banana!?" No you dumb fool, GUAVA! Seriously, this beer is liquified guava with hints of mango, nectarine and lemon. Finish is sweet and slightly tart with lingering milk sugar aftertaste. Hop presence is minimal.
F: Medium in body and weight. Lacks the soft aspect I bet it embodied when fresh, but the feel is still great. Zero booze presence.
O: For a beer this age, this still is fantastic. The guava really takes it up a notch. Too bad I didn't have when fresher. For 8.2abv it drinks well. I don't get the "milkshake" aspect, but again I bet it's because of age.

For those still joining me on the 150bpm band party, here is another video to keep you fueled.
This dude made an outstanding return to the scene, and is welcomed back with open arms. Here is the Aftershock showcase at Hardbass 2019. Banger after banger.

    Cheers Fam!

At first I was thinking way too sweet. Too underattenuated. Somehow, though, this turned the corner and started to just get more dank. Now I’m kind of digging it.

EDIT: nope. Now I’m thinking too sweet again. Just goes to show. Trust your gut.

Omnipollo Agamemnon. I had the barrel aged for a milestone many years ago, but not the base beer. This was amazing. Dense oil pour, fantastic head retention/lacing for the ABV. Aromas and flavors of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, maple syrup, caramel, toffee, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crusts; with lighter notes of licorice, vanilla, raisin, cherry, prune, fig, date, smoke, charcoal, wood, leather, tobacco, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Slight booze in the aromas as it warms. Light herbal, woody, grassy, peppery hops; and roast/charred bitterness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, rich malts; light slickness, sticky hops, chalky char/roast in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering hop/char bitter dryness; no cloying, acrid, astringency. Dangerously smooth sipping, minimal lingering warmth of 12.5%. Not as amazing as the BBA as expected, but pretty close. Insanely rich/well rounded malts and balanced maple syrup complexity; with restrained fruity yeast, and solid earthy hop presence/balance. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Glad I got the pack, worth the price, will be around for a while to get more after this one is done. Would be worthy to age. 4.38

With each additional can I’ve enjoyed this beer less and less. This is my last one.

There are three bands I’ve never gotten used to hearing on the NY classic rock station:

    Green Day
    Nirvana
    Blues Traveler

I take issue with defining something as classic rock based solely on the amount of time that’s passed since the music was made. And that is clearly the case with each of these. No other accolades to their names.

Yeah this was not great at all. I had some high hopes because of previous BBCo beers I've had, but... nah. My review details my feelings quite well. Glad to see someone else feels similarly...

Poured into a 13 oz open mouth New Holland Dragon Milk Glass bottled in September of 2018. Pours a viscous black with a 2 plus finger brown head that leaves big thick rings of lace behind. 4.5

Smell is vanilla beans, cocoa nibs, hints of coffee, and Oreo cookies twice Stuffed. 4

Taste is follows holy lord bold vanilla, chocolate, expresso, and Oreo cookie a tad one dimensional but very tasty. 4.25

Mouthfeel is big, gentle carbonation, maybe a tad dry, and at nearly 13% extremely drinkable. 4.25

Overall this is a big get in your face Stout, that hits on all the the correct notes. So happy to have this in NH. Stouts are what I love about them and this one is exceptional. 4.25[IMG]
