I don't know what inspired me to drink a sour on a cold, snowy night but I'm glad I did. Russian River's Consecration, aged in cabernet barrels with currants, courtesy of @Bum4ever. Really tasty. Thanks, Josh, for the chance to enjoy several fine Russian River beers!

Fantastic pale ale! Glad this is back in season. Lasting thick head retention/lacing the whole glass. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, and pine hops; with moderate caramel, brown sugar, and toasted biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced hop stickiness and bready Munich malt creaminess in the mouthfeel. Light lingering resins/rinds. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Absolutely love the balance and the juiciness of the Cascade/Centennial hops, in combination with the bready crystal/Munich malt bill. Deschutes rarely disappoints. One of my many favorites from them. Would love to have this year round.
