Very nice Brut IPA. Nice fluffy head retention/spotty lacing. Aromas and flavors of lemon, lime, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red apple, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bready malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. A bit muted aromas. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth and pretty refreshing, not overly aggressive, 6.2%. Great Comet, Crystal, Chinook, Simcoe profile. Great mix of vibrant, dank, and earthy hop complexity; with a nice solid clean Pils malt backbone. No residual sweetness from crisp dryness. Great style example as expected of SN.

New to me beer.. Roasty as hell with just a faint hint of maple on the finish. Not bad..

 

All this talk of shitty music reminded me that this shitty beer was in my fridge...

Enjoying the relative solitude of the storage room in the basement. There's a chair and no kids so it works. Cheers
