Yeah, we have people throwing gummi worms, peach rings, oreos, brownies, and even entire bleeping chocolate cakes into their beer, but making the beer green is sacrilege.

Swans arguably looks more appealing than whatever that Codename: Supergnarly was supposed to be.

I wasn't *just* talking about Mikerphone!

Hop Butcher has thrown whole chocolate cakes and raspberry sherbet (sherbert?) into their beer, among other things, so it's not like they stayed off the ridiculous adjunct train themselves.

You better do the same with pipeworks. They made a keg of green Lizard King....

In my 7 years of riding Metra to work I have never had a beer on the train. But I think it's mostly because Union's options for beers are weak. If Union had HB, etc I would probably bite every once in a while.

Yeah Ovie Market is pretty nice. Almost all of the freshest releases from HA, pipeworks, HB and others. My commute is an hour and fifteen minutes each way so a nice beer on a Friday afternoon home is a great way to pass the time.

I guess I like slumming it because because beers like Juice Pants or Pseudo Sue meets my needs for a train beer. My problem is the $10 price tag for one. Hence my reason for hitting 7-11 for my $4 Stone IPA or Lagunitas IPA before hitting Union. A train beer is a glorious thing that you earn after a long week.

Maybe you can propose a Metra Pass +? The monthly pass that includes unlimited Metra rides plus 1 beer a day.

I had one as a train beer Friday. I got a hit of onion on the first sip, but the rest of it was fantastic.
