usually when i grab the expensive to-go cans from ovie i save it for when im home. ill rage it on the train occasionally.

not impressed with swans. its not a bad beer but its not the greatest milkshake ive had. the color is throwing me off too, looks like pond water. could do without the color gimmick.

 

I usually buy beer at Printers Row or Binny's Grand and put it in my fridge at work for train beers. I picked up a Swans at Ovie, and I'm going to drink it today.

 

I'm not on the milkshake IPA train, even thought blazed orange was meh, but Swans was tasty.

 

I did not sanction that activity... it was a rogue action. But I did drink a little of it just for fun.

 

You are taking yourself and your craft beer hobby way too seriously.

 

I mean I would hardly call them weak... The beer girls have a pretty big selection of craft beer. Problem is it costs too much so I'd rather just buy a tallboy of miller lite at CVS.

 

I had one last night, and it was tasty. I'm actually kind of regretting not trying to find a 4-pack of it.

I'm sure this will be easy to find. So many fire and other emojis already. Serious question - how do truck chasers go about getting their intel? Do they just know a place's delivery schedule, maybe they know someone in the distribution business? Do they just sit and wait at a place and they stalk the prey like a lion?

Ha at first glance I literally thought that glass was the backside of the can given the shape and color are so similar to the can.

 

I was going to say that I still hate boss pours. It's kind of cool in that particular pic in that the glass itself looks like it's painted yellow, but in general a total lack of head + filled to the absolute brim bothers me.

Yet another example how looking good on Instagram trumps all else when it comes to food/beverages nowadays.

 

Eh, I remember having can shaped glasses from a brewery when I was still living in Texas like five years ago. It's been a thing for a while, I just think it's dumb.

 

Didn't know that. I had never seen one until a couple of years ago. Certainly, they are a lot more popular now though.
