Brooks Brewing. Excellent wee heavy. Fantastic head retention/lacing for the ABV. Flavors of huge caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread dough/crust, toasted biscuit, roasted nuts, raisin, plum, prune, fig, date, pear, apricot, and red apple; with lighter notes of molasses, licorice, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, wood smoke, leather, tobacco, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Similar/muted aromas. Light-moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery hops; and roasted bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy, silky, bready malts; some sticky hops and light chalky roast in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no cloying/astringency. Dangerously smooth sipping, minimal warming 9.2%. Awesome balance of rich English malts, fruity yeast, and earthy hops. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Very spot on style. Impressed. 4.01

A crowler of Blueberry Plain Jane. A Belgian white ale brewed by Isley Brewing. Not a drain pour but I probably not buy it again.

 

It’s tasty...can never go wrong with Luponic.

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled with this batch either. East Yard is a much better beer IMO.

 

Usually when SW Mizzou gets them they are old as F. This one based on what I saw here, made me think otherwise! Had some 10 on draft in Pacific Beach the other night, it did not float my boat

 

Epistemology wasn't my focus but I will say yes, I am sure.

One of my all time favorite beers. A gorgeous day in Houston, when the sun goes down I'll go in and bring out some tunes but for now just hanging in the courtyard.

 

Well I don’t have seizures when lights flash, but yea.

 

It’s dank, but the dankness is cut by the strong sweetness. Sort of like aging your IPA from the pub in Snoop Lion’s sock drawer, then adding two scoops of orange sherbet and a packet of Splenda.

 

Any trout in that Brook? If not you still have a pretty badass jump on a Huffy BMX right there
