    So consensus is 2012/2014 are best. My personal order:
    2012
    2014
    2015
    2016
    2011
    2018
    2010
    2017
    2008
    2009
    2013
    2007
    Learning: drink 12 now! Drink 2014 over the next two years. 4-6 years old is the sweet spot with younger than that improving and older than that tailing off (that’s been the general wisdom for these kinda barrel aged stouts and our admittedly drunken pallets concurred). Older than seven years drink now. The old ones are still good but 2007-9 were flat with carbonation creeping back in with 2010. We only had one 2013 on hand so whether or not it was a storage or vintage issue we don’t know. Last learning, which is more obvious now that I’m typing it, if you Solera 12 years together it just comes out average.
