Quadruple Barrel Big Bad Baptist by Epic from @Hinda65 !! Gracias!!



This has a strong nose of sharp almonds followed by white cherry, tiramisu, coffee, and oak. The flavor is somewhat similar but with more peppery coffee, and an emphasis on wild cherry (not infected, it's genuinely like stone fruit) and wet oak with lingering notes of piney hop. The feel is slick and semi-creamy. Pretty darn good but I really like Triple Barrel better! 4.1 out of 5 from me!

I always joke....come for the suicidal lyrics, stay for the 3-minute jam out at the end.

Modest Mouse changed a lot, but they used to be a sick band. Isaac Brock wrote some sick lyrics. I don’t think they’re the band they used to be by a damned sight but if you listen to the 2 songs I posted and you don’t feel shit, then I don’t want to know you. I love music that makes you feel things. And, this was one of those bands for a bit.

Not gonna even get into the Edit the Sad Parts video. That video gets me every time. It’s from a documentary. Just, unbelievable how that video could get made and that’s the song.

 

I didn’t “listen” to them. I just listened to them and enjoyed them. Enough to make me explore their music more. Which I will. Cheers.

 

I’m an old millennial (born in 85) so the Smashing Pumpkins are enjoyed and respected by me.

 

Great but totally different from other half. This ones more on the dank and herbal side. Which is strange because thats normally where I would put an OH beer.
