Finding Green Moss kind of one done dimensional. Doesn’t have any complexity...kind offer sweet sugared water.

Disagree. This is a great hop combo and HB mouthfeel is incredible on this one.

Which doesn't really argue your point.

Glad to hear it. Haven’t seen/heard anyone mention that flavor in over a year. I doubt you’ll ever have that issue again. Seems they have a formula they stick to now and it’s mostly just hop variation in their hazy beers

I’ve had this happen several times. Message the brewery on FB, I’ve never had a brewery he anything less than apologetic and offer a tasty olive branch

First can I cracked was bland. Yeah, the mouthfeel was great, but the hops were so subtle and all it was is a faint bitterness that was overwhelmed by the sweet, syrupy notes. The last 4-5 HB beers they have put out have all been far superior to GM- big hop flavors. I'm sure the hop combo is great for Green Moss, it just isn't coming through at all for me and is essentially a flat flavor.

I agree with this. I wouldn't say Green Moss is bad, but it's pretty boring. That's basically how I feel about most beers that feature Citra prominently these days. Citra's always been pretty one-note, in my opinion, and it's no longer revolutionary like it was in the days of Zombie Dust hype. Green Moss is solid, but of the Hop Butcher offerings as of late, it's one of the weakest.

Where is Hop Butcher located? I've googled them, but can't find the address. I was hoping to hit their taproom this week.

    TIA

Hop Butcher brews out of Miskatonic Brewing in Darien, IL. They do not exactly have a taproom but sometimes have their stuff on tap at Miskatonic.

Man, I love it. It's weird, but that's what I like about it. It's one of the most tropical hops I've ever tasted. Then again, I usually prefer the weirder hops to crowd-pleasers like Citra.

Canning today so . . . we should we expect BOM in the city tomorrow?

Given the demand you should never expect BOM. I'm not going to say the odds are poor that you'll find it but, rather than truck chase, I've bought a powerball ticket in hopes of winning so I can buy the brewery in hopes of being able to try BOM....

“End of the week” is their phrasing. So I would hope for tomorrow but set expectations on Friday

Muling milkshake IPA's will always baffle me. How much of the same beer do you actually need?
