Interesting release, but my Canadian girlfriend is taking me to her modeling photo-shoot so unfortunately I'll miss this.

 

Curious about this as well. Flying in Saturday AM and was planning on heading straight there regardless of releases. Am I headed straight for a shit show?

 

Nah its going to be busy until about 11 at most and then die down. I thought the bottle logic stouts were going to be a shitshow but I don't think anything sold out that day and most of it lasted a week.

 

agreed. had it at the taproom tonight and had to walk away with a 4 pack.

also, pastrytown V1 is some dangerous liquid. chocolate sauce that gives no inclination whatsoever of 15%. TBH, I was slightly let down that I couldn't taste anything resembling peanut butter or pretzel... just straight chocolate. (and delicious).

ddh double simcoe daydream is incredible, and I Love to rail on the 'tose. did not expect to like it as much as I did.

 

I still don’t know weather this beer has lactose or not...

I would assume so! Adding/removing lactose always comes with a new name. Plus, the base beer (non-DDH) has lactose in it, so I doubt they'd remove it for the DDH version.

Cases of The Game is Thick, their stout collab with 3 Sons spotted in the taproom.

 

Any thoughts on those observation stouts? I’m surprised they’re still Hanging around, and also the seven deadly layers is on their to go list again. Every day I’ve been thinking of running out from my office around lunch to grab a few. Pastrytown hangover/General stout malaise? I see very few ratings on them too.

 

I haven't tried the Coconut Cinnamon one but I thought the Cacao Nib, Vanilla, Pecan, Hazelnut, Almond one was very meh, kinda regret buying a bottle.

 

any guesses on saturdays releases and what will likely be available sunday? I have a buddy coming in from out of town sunday so will be meeting him at OH.

I'm assuming space diamonds and mosaic daydream will last, but wasn't sure on cheddar broccoli (which I would like to try). figured the cloudwater collabs and great notion collab prom night would be crap shoots with whether they last or not (and im sure some will sell out). Vapor ringz is delicious but not sure if it will last all the way from today until sunday. Thx for your opinions.

 

I echo Feaor and will go one step further. OH only accidentally makes a good stout every now and then.
