Sorry, crazy day at work. Then, when I got home, some dude named jjheinrichs killed me.

Sapporo. No comment. Glad to see that you've grown so much, though, Jeff!
2x Capital Brewery Autumnal Fire--first taste of Capital Brewery, psyched to try it.
    NG Raspberry Tart--huge perma-want
    NG Belgian Red--huge perma-want
    Three Floyds Moloko--big want
NG Serendipity--would've been a want if I'd known it existed
    Teddy Bear Kisses--major want
    Madame Rose--want
Darkness '12--one of my top ten wants
Darkness glass--I've been trying to set up a trade for one of these. HUGE want.
    2x Alpha King--want
    2x BCBS--perma-want
    2x Double Crooked Tree--want
    2x Founders Imperial Stout--perma-want
    SurlyFest--want
    Bitter Brewer--great beer
    2x NG Enigma--want

Unbelievable box, Jeff--you destroyed it. You also covered a few things I've already boxed up for my target that I was sad to see go, which is pretty awesome.

One last clue for my target; the boxes I'm sending you will travel further than the boxes I just received.

Someone on the banks of Lake Ontario should expect two boxes today -- they are on the truck for delivery.

Oh come on. Sapporo's not that bad... it's got a cool can, at least. Truth be told it's been a few years since I've had it. I wonder if it's like the Thundercats, just one of those things that are better left to fond memories and not at all enjoyable now.

Hope you like the serendipity. Of the three NG fruit bombers it's my new favorite.

Well, I've picked up everything for the boxes I want to send, but I regret to say that I'll be a bit late in shipping. I just had to include something that I don't want sitting in a warehouse over the weekend, so I'll be sending it on Monday. Although even with the delay it'll still be there before Thanksgiving (I think that's another hint to my target). Hopefully my target will agree that it was worth the wait. :grinning:

Someone in the great lakes area is getting these 2 boxes next week. Picked up one last beer this morning, an anniversary blend that just hit today , and just got them packed up under the gun. Cheers guys

After dealing with hours upon hours of work BS I got home late last night to 2 big boxes from nwu008! I am absolutely blown away. Every single thing in the box was a want/should be want. If I tried to put together a box for myself I don't think it would have been as spot on as this was.

Minnesota Town Hall Growler labled IPA (I think I know what this is, but not positive)
    Surly Cynic Ale
    Surly Furious
Nordeast (the beer you've grown out of?)
    Tallgrass 8-Bit Pale Ale
    Indeed Day Tripper
    Indeed Midnight Ryder
    Tyranena Dirty Old Man
    Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout
    Odell Mountain Standard
    Boulevard Tank 7
    New Belgium Kick
    New Beligum Tart Lychee
    Surly Darkness
New Glarus Serendipity (I promised my pregnant wife I would track down a bottle of this for her to drink once she can again. Thank You!)
    Odell Deconstruction
    Odell The Meddler
Olvalde Auroch's Horn aged on Rhubarb (!!!!!!!! - my reaction)
    Steel toe - Size 7
    Darkness Snifter (!!!)

Absolutely floored by Erin's generosity. 90% of these beers were either on my wants list, or beers that I thought were on my wants list. I can't get over what an amazing box this is. I'll be opening one or two of these bottles with a buddy tonight (definitely the Kick). Thanks again !!!!

On a much sadder note... because I got home so late, my boxes didn't make it to FedEx yesterday. They're packed up and sitting by the door to go out though. Sadly that probably means that my target will be one of the last to receive, but I hope I can make it up to him (it's a long haul to his place).

Aaron, it was my pleasure to put together the boxes. The growler is Masala Mama. I hit the wants I could and then add some of my favorites that you don't get. The Olvalde is pretty great -- funky and a bit sour. On the Odell's, I would sit on them for a little bit if you can. Particularly the Deconstruction gets more sour and complex (in my opinion) over time.

I cheated a bit on the beer I've grown out of. In college, regular Grain Belt premium was a "good" beer that I drank, at least compared to the Busch light we could get for $12 or so a case. Grain Belt released the Nordeast a few years ago, and I decided to include it in the place of the regular Grain Belt because the case is cooler and because its actually not too bad for what it is.

    Cheers!

Looks like my targets boxes are set to arrive the monday after the holidays. Bummer I couldn't get them in your hands for Tday but wanted to include a certain beer that hit here on Friday. Hope the selection makes up for it :grinning:

my box is going out today and, unless FedEx screws up, it should arrive somewhere northerly of me on wednesday

Couple of boxes headed north this afternoon, to a city almost next to where I used to travel for business, and not much further from where I now travel for business (seriously, it's like all towns are walking distance from each other in the northeast). My target should try to be home on Wednesday.

(It was one of my smaller BIFs -- ~360oz, about 2/3 wants, plus a couple extra goodies.)
