Cigar City Guayabera Citra Pale Ale...and a damn fine one at that.

A nice tidbit, for the first time I saw this in the boxed 6-pack carrier instead of the gawd-awful, old-fashioned, clear plastic rings.

My first one of these bad boys, about 3 weeks old. This defines creamy and chewy, a really full bodied DIPA. Imo it’s outstanding, lol a viscous brew that both hoppy and well balanced. Ones going for an airplane ride I think.

Oh, boy, I'm going to finish off the bottle after all.

Tomorrow I'm not going to feel so good.

Whatever. I'll make it through work, somehow. I always do, somehow.

So can't wait to get out of the restaurant business. Best case scenario - this year. Worst case - next year.

Delicious NEAPA. Flavors of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, strawberry, blueberry, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Similar/muted aromas. Light pine citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/breadygrainy malts, some sticky hops, and slight lingering resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, no warmth of 5.5%. Great Mandarina Bavaria, Hallertau Blanc, Huell Melon, Mosaic, Citra profile. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Really well made for the style. Was getting a bit of a stale wheat note in there, but the BB dating was 4/2019, so I am not going to complain about it. Will finish off the pack easily. Would get again with a fresher batch. Might revisit the regular NEIPA as well.

That’s awesome! Gotta share some tunes with the new amp.

Also, that new acoustic PRS you posted the other day was really pretty.

    Enjoy both

got called into work so I had to put getting buzzed on the back burner, although I did have a few on the clock  . Home again picking up where I I left off.

I really like these Three Floyds beers. I had a talk with my brother and we both agreed these taste like beer we drank 10 years ago. Brewers don't brew beer that tastes this good anymore. Over the top flavors.. extra ingredients, not this one just perfection and some finesse.
