    Hope everyone had a good Saturday so far. Got my usual beer haul today, which was significantly smaller than usual. Spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning up the site queue, and I am not even done yet. It has gotten out of control, since I seem to be the main person taking care of them lately.

    Very nice Blonde ale. Great fluffy head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit malts; with lighter notes of pear, red apple, wood, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Muted aromas, a bit too fruity/yeasty, but not overwhelming. Light herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy malts and some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter/carbonated dryness, no cloying/astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, not watery for 4%. Great clean pale malt/grain showcase; with nice earthy hop presence/balance, and restrained yeast fruitiness. Not overdone on adjuncts. Great summer brew. 3.88

    Phase Three Marmalade IPA (Citra/Columbus). This brewery is hyped to the brim and this one is living up to it. Like it more than their DIPA Protocol. An OJ bomb with some dankness and a small dose of orange pith and pine resin on the finish. Nice juicy yeast profile. Really well done.
