New Belgium did a nice job with this one, dangerously drinkable for almost 8%.

Rain is starting to come in, storms in the forecast for tonight. We needed some because fucking pollen.

 

Just back from my son's Graduation from Michigan. Celebrating with an Icarus Power Juicer on my "Big House" bar tray. Cheers!!!

 

Hop Butcher Blazed Orange Milkshake DIPA (Citra/Strata, orange, vanilla). Orange creamsicle in liquid form. Still get a nice hop presence on the back end. This is delicious. Sadly my last can Cheers!

 

Just got home (safe!) from Montbeerlier.
(Three Penny Taproom's 10th Anniversary party.)
Got there a bit after five and started with Song of Spring (16 oz. can) from Hill Farmstead; a beautiful citrus-y, grapefruit-y session APA. Then a 12 oz pour of Pilsner Urquell (Wow, first time for me on draft!) Then a 12 oz. pour of Sierra Nevada Knightro, a Three Penny/Sierra collab from a long time ago that Sierra made just for their Tenth. Then inside to watch The KY Derby with a horsewoman friend (what an outcome from that race!) and had a pour of the Alchemist's Squidgy Black (at 12% abv only an 8 oz. pour) I still had to drive 30 miles home! Then back outside for a falafel sando with another Hill Song of Spring. I must re-rate that shortly as I had previously rated it only a 3.75/5.0. They had Bissel cans, Tree House cans outside and vintage Hill Farmstead pours of Brother Soigne, Anna, and Arthur inside, along with many others for a stellar draft list. Also 4 bands, culminating with Soule Monde, two guys from The Trey Anastasio Band. Russ Lawton on drums and Ray Paczkowski on keys. They killed!
All in all, in three hours, I had 4 session beers and that 12%er and food and was definitely under the limit.
Now home for the dankest beer of the evening,

So I said I'd record something with my new guitar, so here it is. It's not perfect, has a few warts, but after a few beers tonight, best I could do. I really should have recorded this on my nylon string classical guitar though.
