I've had several of them, and I think they are fantastic. The foeder seems to give them a really nice softness that rounds out the carbonated edges.

Funny to finally get some feedback on this today as I ended up trying the hoppy foeder lager today... I really enjoyed it. Subtle hops and very smooth. Highly recommended.

Came here to show mad props to Cerebral Brewing. I am not a huge Haze Boi, so I hadn't been there in quite some time, but I have been there 2 out of the last three weeks because of their Foeder Lagers. They are doing something really cool over there and everything tastes super fresh. Do not sleep on these if you are a lager fan.

Foeder usually implies brett or mixed culture fermentation. Is this the case with these? I've been enjoying the hell out of some lagers lately, but am allergic to brett. These sound perfect, unless they are mixed.

Speaking only from experience, I'd say there's no brett/mixed culture action. I got the impression they lager the beer in the foeder(s)... didn't taste any sort of funk in the can I had. It was absolutely delicious too...

They are all clean. When I spoke to the brewery they said each one spends around 3-4 weeks in a foeder for primary. Then they are further lagered and finished in stainless steel before being kegged. These are not wild or Brett beers.

I just had a couple of glasses of Odell Colorado Lager at Frontier Brewing.
Since it left the home state, it's being called Nail Knot Lager.

Good thing Asia at Frontier told me that or I would have entered an erroneous new beer.
    Btw, I dig it!

Hadn't had them yet just because I wasn't sure where they were going with the Foeder, but grabbed a couple last night on your recommendation. They are phenomenal. Def will be my summer goto any time I'm there. Helles was super clean and the oat lager was crisp with an amazing hop profile.

No clue about the distributor, but Grapevine still have some items. Iliff and Chambers, too.
Some stores also got Schwendl's weissbiers at the same time. They're just down the road from Schonram, so that's probably no coincidence.

I just tried the Avery Lager, and quite enjoyed it. It's a bit on the light/sweet side, but very clean and crushable. I'd love to drink a couple of those with pizza, or burgers.

I have no clue if they are selling or not, but I'm loving this slow moving trend towards well made pilsners/ helles.

Glad they dug our ‘lesser’ lagers... they minds be blown if they even smelled Bierstadt, Zwei, and even Wibby..

Nice list. My local Lucky’s Market has $2 Pints of Upslope Craft Lager. I always grab one to drink while I shop. It certainly makes the shopping a whole lot better!!

Dry Dock has a killer one on right now. I think some other places went the route of a doppelbock for Starkbierzeit (Mar-Apr) instead.
Comrade has a spin on an export hell that's worth nabbing.

Pretty sure. Before the 1st of the year they had a 3.2 liquor license, but I didn’t partake due to it being 3.2, but since they swapped those Upslope kegs out for full-strength beer, I rarely miss out. My brother-in-law started all the Lucky’s Markets around the country and they call it Sip & Stroll and I’m pretty sure it is allowed in every state they are in. I’ve lost track, but I think they have stores in about 14 states.
