    Alter of the Orc went quick. I logged in at 10:02 and despite duplicate devices, all I got was that all reserved. Now showing sold out.

    Another world class shelfy from MT. There are so many layers of complex aromatics and flavors on this puppy, nobody does this quality on this scale better IMHO, nobody, not even close, add in the price point and it takes it to another level of QPR all-together.

    Cheers,

    Yowza ! I was in SD today on biz and popped into Lomaland, I saw this on the board and said, why the EFF not ! Massively hoppy juicy and somehow incredibly easy to drink 10% TIPA. Says there are 8lbs of hops per barrel and I can taste every ounce. Huge tropical and stone fruits, very cool fresh sweet peach note jumps out of nowhere mid palate. A real showcase for the insane amount of Idaho 7 hops used in this bad boy. Well played MT.

    Cheers,

    For those playing at home, the beer is Protoplanet, and I can confirm that it's absolutely delicious. Also dangerously drinkable at 10% ABV, and a bangin' value at $15 for a crowler.

    Great choice, cheers!

    @ModernTimesJacob

    Is there any update on the close? Wefunder shows funds are still in escrow. I thought I read that it was going to close end of last week, but maybe I'm remembering that wrong.

    sorry if this has been brought up before -- I tried to search the thread before posting, but couldn't help but notice the price point on a couple of the IPAs being released seeming to be about ~2$ more per 4-pack than other comparable breweries?

    From looking at releases of other comparables (Monkish, HPB, BL), the consensus seems to be 24$ TIPA, 22$ DIPA, 20$ IPA. Even considering double dry hopping.

    MTs TIPA is listed at 26$ and the DIPA w/OH is 24$. I've managed to erase my previous emails from MT about releases, and couldn't find prices listed for special releases on their instagram for past sales.

    Just wondering if this is MTs usually pricing tier, or if these are maybe unique prices considering the beers/OH hype.

    They've maintained over and over again that their margins are the same; not priced higher due to hype or whatever. They're using incredibly amounts of hops, fruits, adjuncts, etc. It ain't free...

    Adding on to this, @ModernTimesJacob said in the League Facebook group that they'd likely dive into that a bit more during the next edition fo their podcast (which has since been recorded and is in the process of being edited). Keep an eye out for that if you're curious to hear more on the subject.

    Yeah, MT's been pretty transparent about it when it was asked in the group.

    Not going to lie, it hurt the wallet. BUTTTTTTTTTTT, I've also noticed that the GF doesn't much like the profile of the MT IPA stuff, so it's saving us money that way. ...then it mostly goes to Monkish.

    Most of their past hazy releases have been around $19-21.50 I believe. $26 is definitely higher than I recall any of their IPAs being before. I can't remember what past TIPAs were specifically though.

    They've only canned one TIPA before this and it was $21.50.
