Went for a really long walk in the woods after work today. When I got back, tired and thirsty, my first option was this fantastic, thirst-quenching Gose. I'll be damned if Gose isn't the best hot weather style of beer. (My previous choice was pilsner, but now that I drink pilsners year-round, gose has become my more specifically summer choice)
The combination of tartness, citrus, salt, and low abv is just amazing.

Then I made tacos to use up the last of my pulled pork.

Now I'm finishing off the tacos with a Two Hearted Ale. As @TheIPAHunter would say, "Let's get LAAAAARGE"

Fantastic flavored NEDIPA. Lasting creamy head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, and light peppercorn/pine hops; with moderate maple syrup, vanilla, cream, brown sugar, honey, caramel, biscuit dough malt sweetness; with light notes of bacon smoke, cinnamon, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy, silky, bready malts/sugars; light sticky hops/spice in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no cloying/astringency. Super smooth/soft, no warmth of 8.4%. Fantastic Citra profile as expected. Super juicy and lightly dank/earthy hops; with perfect balance of maple syrup, sugars, and oat/malts. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Just as impressive as the base beer, but not as much actual bacon flavors as expected. 4.23

The options were Swedish sausage and garlic sausage (both locally made at Andy's Meat Market). Tonight it's garlic sausage (with an Odell St. Lupulin apéritif)

Cheers, sir. Much like you, I stressed the "A's" in the beginning, but a fellow English grad, such as myself, told me I was doing it wrong. I see both sides of the fence. Some prefer AP; others CMA; others MLA. Rule it!!!

Sending this one out to @Greywulfken. Don't tell me how it ends, as long as Arya lives. I never cared about the throne. Game over.

As or Es is fine, imo, as long as you don't overemphasize the Gs, because that would--at least in my mind--change the pronunciation from a soft G to a hard G.

Also, I think of you when I drink Two Hearted Ale, because my favorite memory of you was when you got temporarily burned out on disappointing NEIPAs, and then subsequently went on a nostalgia trip; drank and enjoyed an entire six pack of Two Hearted.

I've been the same way the past few days. I've been craving bitter, zesty IPAs lately harder than I have in years. Maybe it's because of the hot weather returning.
