Hello friends! Normally we’re down the shore this weekend, but unfortunately that wasn’t in the cards this year.

At Twin Elephant. Started with an Inspiring Hope. Super fluffy, but not much going on in the flavor.


Having an I’m Seeing Robots now. This is better, to me, than the first time they brewed it. Cheers

Hop Butcher/Odd13 All the Marbles TIPA (Citra/Nelson Sauvin/Vic Secret). Cans of this were super limited and with working a normal job I had no chance at cans. Glad I could find it on tap. Starts damn juicy but finishes quite green, herbal, and piney. Really good as expected. Wish they brewed more TIPA's.


Now back home having Weldwerks Sabro DDH Juicy Bits (Citra/Mosaic/El Dorado/Sabro). Wow, this is awesome! I've noticed a ton of breweries have brewed with this new hop already and this one does an excellent job showing off what it can do. Very pina colada-esque. Pineapple and coconut for days. However, in conjunction with the base beer, this one also brings loads of mango, tangerine, OJ, lemon, and peach. Cheers.

 

Now up some Magnify Low Visibility, cheers!

To celebrate our son visiting, and my cousin visting tomorrow, I am drinking Oude Kriek a Belgian fruit lambik from 3 Fonteinen (imported), ABV 6.00%, in my backyard. It is raspberry, lots of raspberry, raspberry jam, a little bit of yeast/funk, red wine, mildly tart. It is delicious and very easy to drink too fast. We are having a wonderful, sunny and warm but not too hot day in Texas, and that's also worth celebrating.

It's a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the South Jersey Shore. I'm having another Glasstown 856 and finally making some progress reading Doris Kearns Goodwin's Team of Rivals. Cheers, everyone!
