If you're in LA county there are bottleshops around LA that pretty much always have their cans around (for way cheaper than what you paid for). Unless you're unable to go into LA proper.

we live in a different world up here. I love a lot about our local beer scene but I would describe it as the absolute best in the nation...in 1993. The shop that has beachwood is about the only one trying to bring anything interesting in and he survives solely on selling really good beer. I don't go often but I try to drop a few bucks in his store when I can so that it stays available

as much as I'm not an LA lover (and being from the midwest LA runs from just outside oceanside up to ventura and east pretty much to las vegas) you guys have an amazing beer scene down there. I just usually pop into the first decent bottle shop I find and drop 50 bucks on my way out of town every time

$24 for a 4pk? Are you kidding me? If anything it should be around $13-15. Plus its already 6+ weeks old? I grabbed a 4pk dated June 6 for $13 a week ago. Where is this place your buying your stuff from? It should be known that the place is a rip off.

Finally my 4 day weekend has arrived. Now looking for that Super CHolic for my taste buds after I get this damn physical over with today. No ABV's since leaving Maui last weekend. I'm thirsty dammit.

I can't imagine complaining about their menu (outside of changing a few of their items for the worse). If anything, they have too much great food. I can never decide what to get.

Amalgamator will always be my go-to BW cans.

I haven't seen Foam Top cans since they started canning Hayabusa. I assumed the latter replaced the former for the time being?

I think so, I know they only have so much volume for production, so sometimes when a new seasonal IPA comes out they temporarily halt the staples (citraholic & 'gator). I wouldn't be surprised if same is for Hayabusa & Foam Top.

I think FT cans are done. Hayabusa is replacing FT

Super Citrus is tasting good. Not overly citrus-y. La Cabra has made its glorious return. I need more weizenbocks in my life. The only bummer is it's not on for fills

just to reiterate, its mostly a bar and cans are singles, often 6$ a piece. but ya not the place to get your fridge beers

6 dollars for a can of citraholic at a bar isn't a bad deal at all, at a bottle shop it is a bad deal.

I don't know if anybody else feels the same way or has noticed, but I feel that the beers at Blendery have been much more dialed in lately. I've always been a huge fan of their stuff since they opened, but ever since Harrison took over the beers are just... Better...more nuanced

I agree it has been great lately. Probably some of the dialing in due to this process as well:

Saturday July 20th is LB anniversary, wonder if there'll be special cans like the inaugural release of Simcoast.

Hopefully the food is better than last year, that whole hog was very bland

More Simcoast would be great. I'm glad they made more last time they canned it

I would always welcome SimCoast cans back into my lineup of IPA's.
