Other Half (2019)

I know, I still dislike it though and Omnipollo in general, they make mostly bad beer and would be totally irrelevant if they didn't have gimmicks like hamburger and french fry IPAs.

 

Omnipollo and OH can make all the obscene concoctions they want, as long as OH keeps making the classics as well as they do. This hop showers is bangin. I loved the single hop Riwaka 2 years ago and love it even more mixed within the HS recipe.

 

Just needs some mango and white chocolate #debbiedowner

Really enjoyed Green City. My main takeaways:

1. 90.577% of hazy IPAs fall in a tight grouping.

2. I’m glad we have OH as our local(ish) spot - didn’t drink anything that I’d say was better than their core line up.

3. My online purist standards immediately went out the window and I hit a couple of the timed releases (mainly to get a change from the haze). The best was Horus;

4. Where I saw @fdonnelly - good to see you man

5. @RobNewton is a fantastic barman despite short pouring the shit out of me

6. Crushing All Aqua Everything was the move

7. As was crushing west ashley- I couldn’t believe the lack of line. 4-5years ago half of the attendees would have been in line

This weekend’s release looks great huh? Seriously I’m glad - my liver needs no temptations

 

Damnit, he is back!

This weeks release could be the lowest attended release in modern OH times.

Semi relevant - I had that Mortalis Cherry Pie beer at GC. Everyone was raving about them. Was gross. Only DP we encountered. Had their strawberry lemonade beer too - was ok. Maybe their bagel IPA was the good one.....

 

I'm glad I picked a good week to be out of town. Hoping they drop a classic IIPA tomorrow before my Southwest flight on Friday so I can abuse the free check bag policy a little more. These triples are too much for 4th of July activities, I need to be able to go from noon-midnight.

Is Other Half selling multiple Omnipollo beers or just that one?

 

Post was kind of confusing IMO, but they only posted 1 beer/1 cost so I feel like just the 1 can.. but #staytunedformore?

 

From what I gather it’s the one can but all the others will be on tap.

 

I think they'll just be pouring the other 4 beers from what I understand from the post. They were only involved in this one collab.

maybe this is why they're saying one of the beers has "milk sugar" and the others have lactose? tryna slip one by us!

 

Had a Forever Ever last night at Emily and it was so good I had to get another. Did they really dial it in or was it just because it was hot AF and I was really getting my steps in prior? Who knows, but either way I'll be more likely to grab one again. Reminded me of the best hoppy pales I've had (sneakbox)
