Now here's one you don't see very often => Bell's - Pineapple Jalapeno Oberon. Some hot pepper warming on the way down but overall, not bad at all!

Hope everyone had a good Tuesday. It was a slow day with barely any emails to respond to. Thunderstorms supposed to be rolling in tonight. More in the forecast for 4 more days.

Excellent fruit IPA. Great rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big juicy, lightly tart/tangy pineapples, tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/zest, wood, and light peppercorn/pine hops; with moderate honey, caramel, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light nutty malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; creamy/bready malts, some sticky hops; light resins, and fruit tang/acidity in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no cloying/astringency. Very smooth/soft, not aggressive, minimal warming 7.7%. Feels like Centennial/Amarillo. Very juicy hops/fruit, with light dank/earthy notes; and a great balanced clean dark/bready malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin drying. No complaints. 4

Time for some Double Citrus from Funk. The regular Citrus is available via distro at $13.25 in my area, while the double starts out at the brewery, with a select few locations getting limited cans of what doesn't sell out. I think this one was $18 a 4-pack. Both of them are extremely drinkable, as well as very worthy of the NEIPA style. While I don't care about price at all, I would give the regular the nod based on price point, and availability. Cheers!!!
