Fixie is one of my favorites from cycle. Sorry you dont dig lagers. Calusa makes some great beers. Hopefully the other days will be better to you.
Another 2 beer day from @beatjunkee on Day 2 First up Alewerks BA Cafe Royale, nice and smooth coffee stout Next up a delicious vanilla, coffee and maple syrup stout from Beer Tree Brew Co Thanks Con!
Didn’t get a chance to post this last night. Day 2 from @azuelke, which I got to share with @Vidblain and @Tifore, is a BA stout that I suspected was from 3 Sheeps. The Wolf Barrel Select! Glad I got to try this, a slightly more refined (and boozier, I think) version of the base.
Day 1 from @dprice was a super hop-forward DIPA. I definitely got the pineapple finish which was fantastic. Day 2 brought a super hoppy but thinner beer. My guess was a pale ale and I was right! Fantastic blend of hops on this one.
Day 2A and 2b from @Tifore were both deliciously tasty sweet coffee stouts, which turned out to be yet another Tree House beers: Moment of Clarity and Something Incredible Waiting to be Known, making this three Tree House beers in a row. Tyler, this Summer Sixer BIF has been nothing short of fantastic, many thanks for this line up, cheers!
Day 3... I'm thinking it's a raspberry sour aged in wine barrels. I'm not too far off... Thanks @brewnic!
Day 3 from last night was a double. First up, a familiar beer (and one where I saw enough of the cap to pull out some #PGW). I guessed 2019 The Wolf and was right! Really smooth this year, maybe my favorite batch yet. 3b pours a murky brown color and immediately tastes of chocolate and...something else. It was hard to pick up after I poured it cold straight out of the fridge, but the peanut butter came through more as it warmed. Thanks @azuelke, glad I got to try this one as I was curious about it after your glowing review (and I'm always down for some PB stouts).
Another tasty two-fer from @beatjunkee on Day 3! First up an excellent sour from Aslin Next up, some Daddy Issues, a tasty blueberry bomb Three more beers for 3 more days, thanks Con!
Day 3 from @Tifore was an excellent BA maple and honey stout from Jackie O's, Middle of Nowhere: I didn't guess all the adjuncts on that one, nor did I guess the right fruits on his fruited sour on Day 4: Black Project Jettison - new brewery tick and first brandy barrel based sour I've seen, which made it unusually tasty. Many thanks Tyler, killer beers!
4a is thick as hell with tons of super sweet pineapple. I don’t remember if the Eagle Park stuff I’ve had had these black can tabs, but that’s definitely what I’m thinking. Yup! Vegan Pineapple Upside down Cake. This was crazy thick. 4b has the same black tab so it’s gotta be EP again. Getting lots of stone fruit, not an IPA. Don’t know off the top of my head any EP sours. This was really good. I haven’t had many Answer joose variants, but I’d probably put this on par with those. Thanks @azuelke, these were both killer!
