I’m just kidding. He’s back to the spot where it all went down and survived. We tried all the new cans on tap and had a couple other IPAs with no issues

Things Just Happen as They Do is amazing. Definitely try it if you have a chance. Yet to open Ribbons but reviews seem to indicate that it needs a bit of time to mellow.

Yeah, I popped one last night and that was my verdict. It was good, but should sit.

Slight hop green-ish bite. Nothing severe though. Drinkable by far today, but if you're looking to highlight juiciness maybe a week? Doesn't taste like people described triple space diamonds for example where the bitterness was palate crushing. I bought two fours, trying some today, some this weekend, and some over the next two weekends.

THey still had Wednesday's release today. Taproom was pretty crowded, but, no line for cans.

OoooooOOOo or whatever is solid and good. Probably the best beer they released this week (I'm avoiding the Lactose...).

Off the dome was a little disappointing. Just lacking any flavor at all. Not bad, or astringent. Just bland. Soft on the palate.

Realized Escapist's "Daydream" has the Daydream moniker. Anyone know if it has 'Tose in it? Description doesn't state it...just more confusion for the Daydream series?

Been a while since I hit up the taproom, the Pastrytown BA stout is one of their best... Green City All Stars has real nice green melon notes. Grabbed a 4pk of Juice Ribbons to go, despite my preternatural fear of Nelson.

random question... do people who don't dig Nelson have a similar dislike of Riwaka? They taste similar to me, and I love them both, but was curious....

@afroskully I really liked the last batch of Hop Showers with Riwaka and didn't think it had any of the unappealing flavors I get from Nelson. I also tried a Juice Ribbons and felt like I could pick up on the Nelson but thankfully it was woven into many other great hop flavors so I enjoyed that beer too. I think the honest answer, despite my avowed opposition to Nelson, is that any hop in a well balanced blend is tasty.
